AmentCase — Your Secure Client Portal
Pay invoices, sign documents, message your team, and access your matter — securely, 24/7.
How It Works
Once we open your matter, you'll receive an invitation by email from @ament.law.
Modern, encrypted sign-in tied to the email address on file.
Documents, messages, payments, and tasks — all in one place.
Everything in One Place
Drafts, deeds, court filings, and your full matter file — viewable, downloadable, and (where allowed) e-signable.
Encrypted messages stay inside the system — safer than email for SSNs, account numbers, and medical records.
Drag and drop bank statements, prior plans, tax returns, or death certificates into your matter folder.
Credit, debit, or ACH through our IOLTA-compliant, PCI-DSS Level 1 processor. We never see your card or bank details.
See your current trust balance and replenish a retainer in a few taps.
If we need something to keep your matter moving, it shows up as a clear task with a due date.
Built for Confidentiality
Encrypted end-to-end · SOC 2 Type II hosting · PCI-DSS payments · No third-party trackers
Full security details
- Encryption in transit and at rest. All traffic uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Files and messages are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- Modern, phishing-resistant sign-in. AmentCase's sign-in flow is designed to defeat the password reuse, credential-stuffing, and phishing attacks that compromise traditional accounts.
- Strict access controls. Only the attorneys and staff assigned to your matter can see your AmentCase workspace. Access is logged and reviewed.
- Audit trail. Every document view, download, signature, message, and payment is timestamped and logged.
- SOC 2 hosting. AmentCase runs on infrastructure that meets SOC 2 Type II standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.
- PCI-DSS compliant payments. Card and ACH details are tokenized by our payment processor. Card numbers never touch our systems.
- Automatic session timeout. Your session ends after a period of inactivity, so an AmentCase tab left open on a shared computer locks itself.
- No third-party tracking. AmentCase does not run advertising trackers or analytics that share your data with outside companies.
Common Questions
I never received an invitation. How do I get access?
Call us at (724) 733-3500 or email hello@ament.law. We'll confirm your identity and resend the invitation. If you are not yet a client, please schedule a free consultation first — portal access is created when we open a matter.
I'm having trouble signing in.
Make sure you are signing in with the email address we have on file for you. If you no longer have access to that email, or if anything else is preventing you from signing in, call us at (724) 733-3500 or email hello@ament.law and we'll get you back in.
Can my spouse, child, or accountant see my portal?
Only with your written authorization. Joint clients (such as spouses planning together) each receive their own access. We can also add a financial advisor, accountant, or trusted family member with view-only access if you ask us to.
Is AmentCase mobile-friendly?
Yes. AmentCase works in any modern mobile browser and supports document viewing, e-signature, messages, uploads, and payments from your phone.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and bank transfers (ACH). Trust account deposits and operating account payments are routed correctly behind the scenes so they comply with Pennsylvania's IOLTA rules.
Will I lose access when my matter closes?
No. You keep read-only access to your matter file in AmentCase, including final documents and your full payment history, for as long as we maintain the file under our records-retention policy.
Is AmentCase required?
No. If you prefer to handle everything by phone, mail, or in-person meetings, we are happy to accommodate that. AmentCase is offered for convenience and security — not as a barrier to working with us.
Use of AmentCase is governed by our Terms and Privacy Policy. Sending an AmentCase message to your attorney is treated as a confidential client communication; sending a message before we have a signed engagement agreement does not create an attorney-client relationship.
